This week's choice is mainly an anthology of Cargolux's 747! I would like to thank Emmanuel PEREZ for his pictures!
However, that is not all on the agenda! We shall start with Antonov planes, such as the An-225 visiting Toulouse-Blagnac for a heavy loading.
Now come Cargolux's 747 pictures. I have also put a 747 belonging to Air France, lost in the middle of the fog in Paris!
I have almost forgotten about the weekly Airbus airliners! An A330 and the A300-600ST, nicknamed Beluga, seen from behind!
Eventually, two wonderful pictures of prop planes; a MS-230 et a B-25!
That's all on this first Monday of December. So, see you soon for our weekly Screeners' Choice!
This week's choice remains focused on airliners. Therefore, not to have them on the whole page, I shall start with one of the rare photos that is not a modern airliner, although it can actually be considered as an airliner!
Then, before the Airbus and the others come on stage, let's have an eye on Concorde and the Tu-144, a.k.a Concordski!
Finally, here are the airliners! ... an A340-300, a MD11, a Tu-154 and a magnificent A340-500!
That was a smaller choice, but a quality one. I must thank the authors for sending such pictures! I count on you for next Monday to have you in our weekly Screeners' Choice!
A "'normal''" week ... but a few excellent pictures. I shall start with airliners!
That's done with. Now, for this week's short choice, let me show you the "Patrouille de France", lined up! Then, a Blériot XI !!!!! A Dash8 engine ... and finally, a very weird plane, a Shorts Skyvan.
Eventually, I cannot resist showing you my special personal choice! I have seen the A380 many times; I can even see it from my window, but I have seldom seen it climbing at such a steep angle. Many thanks to Amandine once again!
See you on next Monday for our weekly Screeners' Choice!
Here we are! Just over 2000 photos have been accepted so far! With nearly 280 pictures this week, we have set a record that - I hope - we will break as soon as next week!
Enough talking, here is our choice.
First, I have chosen to show you airliners. New liveries (Air Deccan), older ones (Airbus, Air Mauritius), unpainted planes (British Airways) and planes without engines (Emirates)!!
Then, here are some pictures of an Ilyushin Il-76 taken by Amandine Lafond! Many thanks once again!
Finally, a French Transall, an American Mustang, a Russian Yak-52 and I let you have a look at British Hawks for the Indian Air Force which came to Toulouse on their way to India.
That was a very choice indeed. Many other photographs could have been chosen, but we can't take them all. However, you may leave a comment to tell us what your favourite photos are! See you on next Monday for our weekly Screeners' Choice!
Thank you
Why? you may ask. Simply because over 230 photos were accepted this week. There are more than 1700 pictures on the website and over 700 photos have been accepted in only twenty days!
So, once again, thank you!
This week's choice is quite ... "Russian"!
I would like to show you vintage planes to start with, including an Antonov An-2 wonderfully taken by Amandine Lafond (once again!).
After Russian vintage aircraft, Russian airliners!
Then, very "classical" airliners, but the pictures are great!
Eventually, I would like to finish with one of my favourites. Although the photo is not perfect, the aircraft is very peculiar!
That is all for today. See you on next Monday for our weekly Screeners' Choice!
