Pictaero is a website that has been designed for aviation picture sharing.
Everyone can join Pictaero by uploading pictures, by interacting with the collaborative project or simply by viewing pictures.
To add a picture on Pictaero, it is very simple:
A RSS feed (which stands for Really Simple Syndication) is a simple way that allows you to view a website's newest pages without visiting it! To do so, you must use a reader (e.g: Netvibes, Mozilla Firefox, iGoogle, …) that will keep you updated of all the new content.
Of course! Access to Pictaero is open to all, but certain services need loging in.
It is strongly advised to activate cookies on your browser to visit Pictaero. Otherwise some services may not work properly.
Click on the bug report link that is at the bottom of the page and fill in the form with as many details as you can, for our team to correct the bug as fast as possible.
Pictaero has set up a project based on cooperation that allows each site member to take part in Pictaero's development by increasing the general knowledge on the database! In many sections, you will find a link named "Update information", which will let you edit data in order to eventually have a great number of up-to-date information.
Processing time may vary, but we plan on doing it within 48 hours. You can follow your picture in the queue by going to your profile!
After confirming the final stage of adding a picture, our servers have to operate automated amends to your picture (resizing it, optimizing its weight, …). This action usually lasts thirty minutes and the picture you added cannot be seen within this time frame.
