This week, I have decided to start with a brand new aircraft that has not been seen yet: the first A320 for LAN Airlines. Then, you may see the first ATR delivered to Aer Arann in April 2007.
Many thanks to Yvan for that new A320!
Then, two rare aircraft; a USAF DC-9 visiting Toulouse-Blagnac (LFBO/TLS) and a Bell 301 during its flight display at the Paris air show in 1981!!!
It is the props' turn now. Old aircraft and not as old (but nothing that new)! Fokker, Constellation and Lightning.
Finally, two unusual photographs; one for the plane's colour, the other for the colour in the background!
That is it for today. See you on next Monday for our weekly Screeners' Choice!
Four different categories this week.
We have chosen a large number of Airbus aircraft to start with! Both for their quality and their composition, such as an A319 wing taken in flight, with a beautiful sunset, and an A330 in front of threatening stormy clouds!
Concorde - when it showed up - still is a thrilling plane, although it is no longer in the air!
Before we finish, let us stop at a selection of light aircraft, some of which are very rare in the Western world!
Finally, not knowing where to place those two pictures, a photograph of a Dassault Rafale B, during the Bex Air Show, and a EuroAir MD-83, providing Aegean with a temporary uplift capacity!
Once again, thank you to all of you and see you next time for our Weekly Screeners' Choice!
Good evening,
As you may have noticed, Pictaero has encountered a few technical problems since Saturday 22nd September. In fact, because of a configuration problem on our main server, sending pictures was impossible.
We have just finished mending it an hour ago because repairing it was long and difficult (we had to find the problem - which was very complex - and correct it).
Everything is settled now! If you tried to upload pictures within that period of time, you will find the list of the pictures that could not be uploaded on the upload form: Then, click on "Continue" to proceed your upload.
We would like to apologize for any inconvenience, we tried everything we could to keep the website online and available.
David, on behalf of the whole Pictaero team.
Let's start with the result for our weekly screeners' selection!
First of all many thanks to Marc-André Veillard for his pictures'quality!
Then, as for the week, we have had a great number of older photographs with a few wonderful ones among them!
Let's carry on with a few military aircraft and rare planes, a beautiful Beriev Be-200 for instance!
Eventually, a little remembering for the French Civilian Security with their EC-145:
Thanks to all of you for submitting great pictures! See you next time for our weekly Screeners' Choice!
Like every Monday, here is our choice for the week.
Let's start with general aviation first, with a wonderfully painted plane.
Now, many thanks to Jean-Philippe Lemaire for his Concorde pictures.

A slideshow of diverse airliners, chose for their liveries or their characteristics.
Finally, a few military and government planes:
Thank you to all our photographers, and see you next week for our newest Screeners' Choice!
