The week-end was longer than I thought and I got a little late. I thought I was still on holiday!!! And spending my time by the beach, at Biscarosse in France for the 12th International Seaplane Air Show, was an extraordinary experience!
Anyway, I'd better stop bothering you with my stories ... Here comes this week's choice. Luckily, it is rather varied: fewer airliners actually.
First of all, two superb shots of a Yak-3, based and registered in France.
Then, here is a photo of Iren Dornier Project's Do-24 ATT, Claudius Dornier's grandson, together with UNICEF; the flying boat was at Biscarosse too, along with myself:
Right, I can show you bigger ones now: A Piaggio Avanti and an A319:
Finally, have to show you the large planes! Amongst them, one of the A380 prototypes, which should end her career very soon:
That's all for the week. The air show season has just started. We hope to see your pictures in the weeks and the months to come! And see you on next Monday for our weekly Screeners' Choice.
